Simple Daily Rituals
I don’t see ritual as something separate from life. I see magic, mysteries, playfulness.
It can exist in the small, everyday moments — the way you move, the way you think, the intention you bring into what you’re already doing.
These are a few of the simple rituals I weave into my day to bring magic into my life:
Cinnamon for Abundance
As I make my coffee, I add a little cinnamon.
Not just for taste — but as a quiet ritual to call in abundance.
Support. Opportunity. Flow. A reminder that I am open to receiving.
This is a small moment where I choose that.
Washing the Day Away
At the end of the day, as the water runs over me, I imagine anything that isn’t mine — stress, energy, emotions — washing away. Like mud being rinsed off of me until I feel energetically clean.
Anything that didn’t belong to me, I wash away.
Clearing My Path
When I wash my knees and feet, I intend that I’m clearing my path forward. Clearing my path of energies that may be in my way from taking that next step, that next up-level.
Trusting that I am supported in where I’m going.
Stepping Into New Energy
As I walk through a doorway, I take a quiet moment before I walk through a door and I say that I am stepping into a new timeline.
I am stepping into a timeline of abundance, happiness, and health.
Noticing the Light
Watching the sun reflect on water… the way it sparkles, moves, catches your eye. It feels alive, it dances, it reminds me of magic once again.
I know within myself that same light exists within me —
within my body, my energy, my presence.
I ask that all of the cells in my body light up. Light up my Alive-ness, and activate.
Calling in Protection
At different moments throughout my day, I call my energy back to myself. Sometimes I’ll simply say:
“May I be protected by my soul’s light.”
Or I’ll invite in guidance and protection from my guides and angels — asking to feel supported, held, and clear in my space.
Grounding While Driving
Even while driving, I stay connected.
I imagine a grounding cord extending from my car into the center of the earth. Keeping me present. Steady. Supported.
Holding My Energy
There are times I can feel when something isn’t mine. I feel off, all of a sudden an emotion hits me out of nowhere.
I ask for the violet flame of transmutation to burn through and transmute any and all discordant energies in my field, and I call on a golden light to strengthen my boundaries - the endless of my energy field.
Not closed off… just contained.
Cleansing & Blessing Your Home or Space
When I clean my home, it’s not just about keeping things tidy.
It’s a reset. As I move through each room, I hold the intention:
As I clean I state: I am cleansing and blessing my space.
Releasing stagnant energy. Creating room for clarity, peace, and new energy to flow in.
It shifts cleaning from something I have to do into something that supports how I feel in my home.
I LOVE doing this on the first of the month to bring fresh energy, new beginnings, and refresh!
If I’m busy on the 1’st, I’ll still do it on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th - there are no rules :)
Choosing Your Reality
If I’m looking through a lens into my day of something that I don’t like, or something that I want to shift, I say “this is not my reality” and I smile and choose to see it differently.
Not in a way of ignoring what is real but where I give my energy to.
The Magic Is in the Small Moments
These rituals aren’t about doing more. They’re about bringing awareness into what already exists.
Small, intentional moments that shift how you feel —
and over time, how you move through your life.
Enjoy more presence within the moments you already have.
If you incorporate any of these rituals into your daily life, I’d love to hear about it, and how its helped you - Alison
