Reiki is often described as energy healing. But most people don’t book a session because of the definition.
They book because of how they’ve been feeling.
Overwhelmed.
Anxious.
Emotionally heavy.
Disconnected from themselves.
And not sure how to shift it.
What Reiki Actually Is
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that works with what’s often referred to as “life force energy” — the energy that flows through all living things.
When this energy is flowing freely, we tend to feel balanced, grounded, and well.
When it becomes blocked or depleted — through stress, emotional experiences, or constant mental overload — it can show up as tension, anxiety, fatigue, or feeling disconnected.
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-above) practice that supports your body in restoring that natural flow.
It’s not something being “done” to you.
It’s a space where your system can slow down enough to:
• release built-up stress and tension
• process emotions that haven’t fully moved through
• regulate your nervous system
• come back into a more grounded, clear state
Most people don’t realize how much they’re holding until they finally stop.
What You Might Feel During a Session
Every session is different, people often experience:
• deep relaxation
• a quieting of the mind
• emotional release
• warmth or subtle sensations in the body
• a sense of lightness or clarity afterward
