Jill Marek


Jill’s yoga journey stems from a love of movement, in all forms. Before beginning her ever-evolving path as a yogi, she pushed her body to extremes—as an Ironman triathlete, surfer, backcountry skier, and entrepreneur. Her entry into yoga began with the experience of Pranassage®—a specialized blend of yoga and massage, created by her teacher, Amba Stapleton. This practice elegantly translates the benefits of a traditional yoga asana practice into an immediately accessible passive massage. In Amba’s words the experience is, “deeper than massage, stimulating the bones where Prana flows, loosening joints to connect to the nadies, and directing pressure on the respiratory system to create deep breathing—resulting in a more intelligent and articulate body and nervous system.” 

Jill believes in embracing the adventure of life, in constant exploration, in the pursuit of growth, and in overflowing gratitude for every. single. beautiful. moment.

She obtained both her 200 RYT and 500 RYT in the vibrant Costa Rican jungle-surf town of Nosara, including an in-depth certification in the practice of Pranassage®.
